Reflexive Whiteness critically examines how White Christian dominance operates among White Christians who seek to be and become allies in racial justice work. The book also serves as a guide for White Christians who desire to resist these dominant behaviors within themselves and lead their faith communities in more ethically grounded racial justice praxis.

Rebecca M. David Hensley earned her PhD from Iliff School of Theology/University of Denver, where she studied under Miguel A. De La Torre. In addition to her teaching at Iliff and the University of Denver throughout her doctoral work, she has written and presented in both academic and ecclesial settings on the Christian responsibility to work for racial justice.
