Stephen B. Bevans, SVDĀ is Louis J. Luzbetak, SVD Professor of Mission and Culture, Catholic Theological Union, Chicago. He is author ofĀ Models of Contextual Theology; An Introduction to Theology in Global Perspective;Ā Ā and most recentlyĀ Community of Missionary Disciples: The Continuing Creation of the ChurchĀ (all Orbis Books). He is co-author with Roger P. Schroeder ofĀ Prophetic Dialogue: Reflections on Christian Mission TodayĀ and also serves as editor ofĀ Mission StudiesĀ and contributing editor ofĀ International Bulletin of Missionary Research. In 2021 Bevans was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award from the American Society of Missiology.

Roger P. Schroeder, SVDĀ is professor of intercultural studies and ministry, Catholic Theological Union, Chicago. His many books includeĀ What Is the Mission of the Church?; Christian Mission in Global PerspectiveĀ (names one of Ten Outstanding Books in Mission Studies by the Overseas Ministry Study Center of Princeton Theological Seminary) and , with Maria Cimperman,Ā Engaging Our Diversity: Interculturality and Consecrated Life TodayĀ  (all Orbis Books).Ā  An associate editor ofĀ the International Bulletin of Mission Research he has also served as president of the American Society of Missiology, the Association of Professors of Mission, and the Midwest Fellowship of Professors of Mission. He is currently serving as Coordinator of Anthropos Institute, an international network of specialists in the social and religious sciences.
