Robert J. Schreiter, C.PP.S. (1947–2021) was a missionary priest, internationally known theologian, and Professor of Systematic Theology at Catholic Theological Union in Chicago. A consultant to the Vatican on justice and peace, he worked globally with communities recovering from violence. He authored over twenty books on mission, reconciliation, and the global church.
