From Teilhard to Omega
By: Ilia Delio
Overview
"Ilia Delio has challenged a team of Teilhard experts by asking them, in their fields, to envision how unfinished humanity's convergent journey toward Omega has progressed in complexity and consciousness since Teilhard's day. It's a hope-filled book, exploring Teilhard's realm of the 'not yet,' spilling over with fascinating and prophetic thoughts and images on things to come." --Louis Savary, Ph.D., S.T.D., author, The New Spiritual Exercises
"A useful and much overdue contribution! These wonderfully diverse and helpful essays will open up many new access routes to a Christian mystic whose time has definitely arrived." --The Rev. Cynthia Bourgeault, Ph.D., author, The Wisdom Jesus and The Holdy Trinity and the Law of Three
Edited by Ilia Delio, thirteen scholars fulfill Teilhard de Chardin's hope that a future generation apply his learnings to the needs of their age.
Each chapter sheds new insight on God and humankind's role in co-creation, and the wisdom we need to forge the future. Most of all, these visionaries inspire us to do our share to advance a spiritual universe. The contributors include: John F. Haught - Edward Vacek, S.J. - Patrick H. Byrne - Francois Euve, S.J. - Ilia Delio - Denis Edwards - Kathleen Duffy, S.S.J. - Ursula King - John C. Haughey, S.J.
